Traditional healer to lead workshop on herbalism

Alaska traditional healer and herbalist Molly Cerridwen will discuss techniques for using plants鈥 healing properties.

Join traditional healer Molly Cerridwen in a free webinar, 鈥淚ntroduction to Herbalism,鈥 sponsored by the Alaska Tribes Extension, part of 澳门彩开奖结果记录历史 Cooperative Extension Service. 

Cerridwen is Yup鈥檌k, Siberian Yup'ik and Irish with ancestral ties to Qaluyaaq (Nelson Island), on Alaska鈥檚 western coast, and County Kerry, Ireland. She is the founder of Shapeshifting Wellness, an Alaska Native traditional healing and yoga clinic in Knik. In the webinar, Cerridwen will share a few basic techniques for using plants鈥 healing properties, with examples of how she uses them in her own life and practice. 

The webinar is scheduled from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14. .
